Welcome to PILATES! This class involves a series of Pilates exercises performed on a mat without equipment. Some classes may utilize props; such as a magic circle, ball, bands or weights. Each exercise emphasizes breath, core conditioning, and body awareness at a deliberate pace. This class does place an emphasis on connecting mind and body as well as being present with your movements. You can expect a combination of challenge and release, strengthening and lengthening, precision and grace. Whether you’re a beginner or expert practitioner, this mat workout will strengthen the core, tone the hips and thighs, and flatten the abs. Deepen your body awareness and boost your confidence within your movement. This is the perfect compliment to our Sculpting classes. Workout by working in. Xo
